Jennifer Sprowl 001Jennifer Sprowl joined Lori Belilove & Company in 1989. An Ohio native, Jennifer has performed with the Dayton Ballet Company and the Pennsylvania Ballet. Jennifer's devotion and commitment to dance began in earnest when she was accepted into the Dayton Ballet Company at the age of 12. There she participated in "The Living Arts Center," a government-sponsored arts training program which offered a wide-range of subjects, including improvisational dance, drama, poetry, music, and performance. The program brought her to New York, where she studied Graham technique as well as jazz, character and musical theater. She subsequently studied with Bill Evans and performed with Rebecca Kelly Dance Company.

In her work with Lori Belilove & Company, she has performed and taught the Duncan technique at the Isadora Duncan Foundation for Contemporary Dance. While on tour with the company throughout the U.S. In 1995, she assisted Ms. Belilove with a residency entitled Myth into Dance in Dayton, Ohio.

Jennifer introduced a series of adult classes in Duncan technique at the Ballet Academy East. She is the assistant director for the Lori Belilove & Company Apprentice Program and is involved in rehearsal and staging of repertoire.

Ms. Sprowl is also certified as an ACE exercise instructor and an MPI flexibility technician and has taught many top fitness studios in New York City as well as abroad. She has been director of instructor training and development for a group of New York City aerobics studios including BodyDesign by Gilda and works as a private fitness consultant.
