The workshops will be taught by Lori Belilove, the world's leading teacher and performer of the dance of
Isadora Duncan, and master teacher Cherlyn
Smith, Associate Artistic Director of the Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation.
Students will work to increase
their technical and expressive capabilities in a positive and supportive
environment.

Monday through Friday, with technique, teaching labs, and seminars.

Tuesday through Saturday, with daily technique classes and repertory sessions, tunic making, video screening, and a tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

July 18 - 23 (Advanced Workshop)
Monday through Saturday, with daily technique classes and repertory sessions, video screening, a tour of the Metropolitan Museum of Art,
and admission to the Alice Austen House performance on Sunday, July 24. Select students may be chosen to perform July 24.

July 31 - August 7 (*NEW* Noyes Rhythm Workshop for Women)
A unique one week program at the magical Shepherd's Nine Noyes Rhythm Camp on a 100-acre site in Portland, Connecticut about two hours from midtown Manhattan. There will be afternoon Duncan classes with guest teacher Lori Belilove and an introduction to Noyes Rhythm, a vocabulary of natural movement inspired by Florence Fleming Noyes. The program also includes swimming, boating, and evening dancing by lantern light with a live piano accompanist.
$450/week plus fees (reservation and transportation costs)

August 15 - 19 (Teacher Training Workshop)
Monday through Friday, with teaching labs, seminars, and daily technique classes.
$600 workshop (Earlybird Special: $550 by May 15th)

Children's Sample Class for Teacher Training workshop (August 15-19)
Ages 3-5: 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Ages 5-9: 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Single class $10. Class space is limited. Register to reserve a spot.

The three July workshops can be combined into two consecutive weeks, or for the ultimate Duncan experience, a full three-week workshop.

REGISTRATION AND FEES: DEADLINES
Registration is required for all workshops.
A non-refundable deposit (applied to
tuition) is required and tuition must be paid in full by June 1, 2011.
There will be a 4% processing fee for credit card and PayPal payment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Workshop applicants who cancel at least one month prior to the first class will receive a full refund minus deposit.
No refunds will be given for cancellations after that time.
The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation reserves the right
to cancel any portion of the program, in which case full refunds will be granted.
