"The life and art of Isadora
Duncan never cease to
cast a spell... Through her
dancing, Ms. Belilove, a
Duncan authority, makes
this great choreography
seem eternally fresh...
irresistibly joyous."

Who
We Are
The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation (IDDF) and its resident performing
troupe, The Isadora Duncan Dance Company, offer Company performances,
residencies, educational programs, and ongoing classes and workshops
reflecting
the passion, ideals, and artistic integrity of our namesake and the "Mother of Modern Dance", Isadora
Duncan. Read current and past reviews and articles.
Our Programs
Our programs, including performances, lecture-demonstrations,
residencies, and educational outreach, can be tailored to meet your
needs and budget. It is our desire to create programs that can
easily
move from venue to venue, and it is our goal to bring our dance
company and our teachers to a wide variety of venues.
Through our programs
we offer compelling portaits of Isadora Duncan, the revolutionary
modern dancer. IDDF houses the complete repertoire
of her choreography from 1900-1927 as passed through generations
of Duncan dancers to our Artistic Director, Lori Belilove. Ms. Belilove's
commitment and vision have evolved into a powerful and contemporary
new voice.
Live Music
The Isadora Duncan Dance Company frequently works with concert pianists
who play during classes or performances. Because many of the works
in the repertory are performed to classical music, we welcome collaborations
with local chamber groups, symphonies, choruses, and soloists. We have
numerous arrangements for various instrumentation by such composers
as Chopin, Gluck, Brahms, Schubert, Strauss, and Tchaikovsky.
The Isadora
Duncan Dance Foundation offers residencies with a
combination of the above programs and can be combined with
master classes, film lectures, and lecture demonstrations.
