Select dancers from these classes perform
as "The Beliloveables"
and have participated in company performances at venues
including The Duke on 42nd Street, Symphony Space,
The New York Botanical Garden, and the Donnell Library Center.
CHILDREN'S PERFORMING GROUP "THE BELILOVABLES"
Wednesdays at McBurney Y, 4:00-5:30 pm
Participation by invitation of Artistic Director Lori Belilove
Pre-requisite: Dancer needs to be taking one class per week minimum.
This class prepares dances for performances with The Belilovables (young Duncan Dancers) under the directorion of Lori Belilove with assistant teacher/director Faith Kimberling (member of IDDC). The troupe performs at schools, art centers and museums, and joins IDDC for outdoors performances and special events.
$250 contribution per semester. Costumes will be an additional cost of $80.
Fall: Sept-Dec; Winter-Spring: Jan-April; Summer: May-Aug.
