WADE Into Activism
Arts on Site, Studio 3R
12 St Marks Pl, New York, NY 10003, USA

Lori Belilove is pleased to be contributing a solo performance of Isadora Duncan’s Revolutionary in this year’s WADE Into Activism performance.

WADEintoACTIVISM is a hybrid, performing arts festival presenting work by female and historically underrepresented artists and conversations with feminist allies surrounding gender-based violence. We are joining the UN Women’s Generation Equality campaign and their 16 days of activism against rape and any form of violence against women and girls. WADE into ACTIVISM is made up of performances, conversations, and interviews by artists and activists centered around gender-based violence, reproductive rights, trafficking, toxic masculinity, erasure, identity, and power. This event takes on global and multifarious perspectives, our participants’ voices hailing from all over the world.
