Isadora150 brilliantly brings Duncan to the present in a living embodiment of Isadora’s timeless work: a celebration of her unwavering commitment to the Art of the Dance.
In 2025-2027, we honor the life of Isadora Duncan (1877-1927) through a series of cultural events in celebration of her 150th birthday. Isadora150 invites the world to rediscover the revolutionary spirit of Isadora Duncan—through sweeping performances, inspired collaborations, and vibrant educational programs that carry her artistry into the hearts and bodies of a new generation.
Led by The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation / Lori Belilove & The Isadora Duncan Dance Company, the distinctive three-year project includes:
A performance series of Isadora’s masterworks as well as new collaborations with celebrated dancers and choreographers. Performances will be held with cultural institutions in New York City and beyond.
Lectures, demonstrations, and master classes to be held in salon-style settings at The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation Studios; lectures by notable Duncan authorities; film screenings; and panel discussions.
A gala and special performance at a prominent New York City venue in 2027 to commemorate Isadora’s 150th birthday and the 50th anniversary of The Isadora Duncan Dance Foundation.
