Dance Planet 29: “Dance in America” in Dallas, TX

On April 18, 2026, Lori Belilove will be in Dallas, TX, to perform and teach Duncan dance workshops for Dance Council of North Texas’ Dance Planet 29. This year, the festival’s theme is “Dance in America,” and the roster of teachers features a range of distinctly American dance traditions, ranging from Duncan dance to Tap, Colonial Era dances to Hip Hop.

Belilove will present the following historic Duncan dances: "Prelude No. 4" set to music by Chopin, "Water Study" set to Schubert Waltz, "Scarf Gypsy” set to Brahms, “Mother” set to Scriabin, and "Rose Petals” set to Brahms.
